Had an absolutely magical Christmas Eve lunch at The Plantagenet today! Not only is the history of the restaurant intoxicating but the food definitely does not disappoint! The lobster was fresh from the bay and the salmon stew was to die for! The owner even treated us to a bit of Michael Buble Karaoke! This is a MUST visit on your next visit to Tenby!

What a find. Love it. Lucky enough to get in and get the table by the open fire. Bottle of red wine and an amazing cheese board with welsh cheeses. Heaven. Loved the atmosphere and both the guy working ( sorry we didn't get your name) and the owner were so friendly and nice. You have an amazing place.

We went for lunch. 5 and our dog. There is a separate area downstairs for dog friendly tables it’s very quaint. The staff were very friendly. 2 of us had seafood linguine which was delicious. I had a crab sandwich which was lovely and fresh. We all really enjoyed our food and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Really amazing place. Fabulous staff, very friendly and made us feel very welcome on arrival in the downstairs bar. The food was out of this world, very high quality and cooked to perfection. Staff assisted from the moment they took our order, meeting any requirements and of course keeping us served with drinks throughout our time there. Many thanks for a great experience with you.

Found this hidden gem down a little side street and had a delicious Sunday lunch. About 17 per person for more food than we could manage to eat; I recommend both the roast lamb and beef options. Both came with large Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and a large variety of vegetables. Definitely recommend it

We had an outstanding dinner here. The muscles were so tasty. My steak was perfectly cooked to order and of the highest quality. The service was excellent and very kind. The restaurant interior was so comfortable and we loved having a table by the fireplace. Top restaurant in Tenby.

This place was a real gem! I spent the month of Sept traveling around the UK and Ireland and happened to be in Tenby on my 40th birthday, so wanted to take myself out to dinner. I was looking for a relaxed vibe but with good food that felt worthy of a "birthday dinner," even though I was traveling solo. I really lucked out with this place! The owner was there and his son was tending bar and I could have talked to them all night. So friendly and fun! The woman who brought my food and took my order was so attentive and accommodating even though I was eating downstairs instead of in the main dining area (upstairs). Excellent service!! I ended up chatting with a lovely couple with an adorable dog all night, drinking wine, and eating fantastic scallops...my birthday dinner couldn't have been better. At the end of the night, the owner paid my tab! Who does that?! This was one of my top 10 dining experiences. Everyone should visit Plantagenet House when in Tenby if you want a friendly, welcoming atmosphere, a relaxed vibe in a cool setting, and yummy food.
